About Us

After extensive research of bodyshop development at home and abroad Frank Byrnes founded Frank Byrnes Autobody Repairs in 2003 in Clarenbridge, Co.Galway.

Frank Byrnes quickly built a strong reputation and by 2008 the business had grown to such an extent that the company moved to a new 8,000sq.ft. purpose built premises in Oranmore, Co. Galway. The move to the new premises has facilitated new business opportunities which include repairing and refinishing helicopters which arrive from all over Europe! State of the art customer facilities coupled with constant investment in the latest bodyshop technology ensures that Frank Byrnes Autobody Repairs remains very much at the cutting edge of the accident repairs industry.

Since it was established Frank Byrnes Autobody Repairs has gained insurance company approvals and manufacturer approvals and has also become an award winning bodyshop. In 2012 Frank Byrnes Autobody Repairs won the SIMI Bodyshop of the Year award, the following year we came second and we are now proud to have reclaimed our title as SIMI Bodyshop of the Year for 2014.
